Using Donor Sperm

Interested in Using Anonymous Donor Sperm?

At Northeastern Reproductive Medicine, we have years of experience helping patients build their families using donor sperm. Many individuals and couples choose sperm from a de-identified donor; there are several sperm banks across the country where patients can choose a donor based on physical characteristics, family history, academic achievements, and many other criteria.

Individuals and their providers work together to choose the best plan of treatment for their cycle. If the individual undergoing IUI has regular menstrual cycles and can track their ovulation, a natural cycle IUI may be the best and least expensive choice. In other patients, medication can be used to induce ovulation and time the IUI.

Other Sperm Donor Choices

You may choose a different sperm bank as long as we can verify that they are certified by the FDA and CLIA (sperm banks list their certifications on their website). We recommend you NOT purchase any sperm until talking with an NRM provider.

NRM supports Directed (Known) Sperm Donors as well.
