To maximize patients’ chances of success, it is important to remember the natural decline of infertility with age. When in doubt, refer early so that patients are able to explore their options and take time to make important decisions about their fertility.
The age-related decline has become even more pertinent in recent years due to individuals focusing on their career or personal goals, maybe haven’t met the right partner yet, or simply aren’t ready to have children. With advanced reproductive technologies, the opportunity for conception is greater than ever before, but nonetheless success rates vary widely by age. Let us educate your patients on their options so they can be proactive.
Our Referral Services
We know from experience that patients in our community enjoy continuity of care with their Ob/Gyn or other primary care provider. Often, these primary providers assist their patients in taking the first steps of fertility treatment. As a part of those first steps, we are happy to help these patients receive diagnostic testing in a convenient and confidential manner. NRM offers the following referral services to patients undergoing care with their primary Ob/Gyn or other physician; results are reported directly back to the managing provider.
-
Coverage for your Weekend IUIs: Our team at NRM works 7 days a week. Patients receiving fertility care at their primary Ob/Gyn clinic may have their IUI performed at NRM if timing of their LH surge results in the need for a weekend IUI. Please contact us for more information on how to schedule.
-
Comprehensive Gynecologic Ultrasound: Our highly-experienced ARDMS-certified ultrasonographer, together with our physicians, offer high-definition, 3D ultrasounds in a convenient, comfortable setting for patients experiencing abdominal or pelvic pain, heavy or irregular menses, PCOS, infertility, or to those undergoing familial cancer screening programs. Same day consultation with a physician is available upon request.
-
Semen Analyses: Our semen analyses are run daily, with results delivered in 7-10 business days. We are happy to provide consultation on the results upon request.
