Dr. Brown Elected President of the New England Fertility Society
Founded in 1990 by the legendary Dr Selwyn Oskowitz of Boston IVF, the society connects over 200 infertility professionals across New England. Dr Brown was elected by her peers and currently serves as President of the New England Fertility Society (NEFS) for 2019. NEFS is a non-profit organization composed of Reproductive Endocrinology Specialists including REI physicians, urologists, nurses, legal specialists, and industry associates. NEFS provides continuing education for professionals with a special interest in the field of infertility, through quarterly and annual meetings. These lively and professional conferences provide both a sense of community and a network of resources to specialists across the region. The society aims to promote awareness and standards of information, and provides on-going education to providers– and ultimately patients– in our rapidly-advancing field of infertility. Dr Brown has been involved with NEFS since 2014 when she was elected to the position of Vermont member-at-large on the Executive Committee.
Dr Peter Casson was elected to serve as Vermont representative to NEFS and will be actively involved in the Society. Northeastern Reproductive Medicine is proud to be active with this Society of fertility professionals across New England, to share best practices, stay abreast of the advancing technologies in the field, and to provide a tremendous network of resources to our community of patients in Vermont.
